Located in Northeast Portland, Concordia is one of ten Concordia University
System campuses in
America and the only member
of these private, Lutheran colleges in the
Pacific Northwest. The
Portland
campus has over three thousand students. Concordia offers an
evening MBA program that is popular
for working professionals in the city.
Through a hybrid on-campus and
online format, students attend class one Saturday each month while engaging in
online coursework and discussion groups. The flexible format makes it a
popular alternative for students with busy lives to earn an MBA. Through
this format, students can complete the program in two years or less at a total
cost of around $28,000. Recently
Concordia University
earned ACBSP accreditation for its business program.
The Life: There is plenty of “Portlandia” charm to Concordia.
Northeast Portland is an old residential
neighborhood with many houses dating back to the early 20
th century.
Students can enjoy many nearby restaurants and pubs when they come to campus.
Concordia is also easily accessible to downtown
Portland and
Portland International
Airport.
Drawbacks: Concordia’s MBA is not much more affordable than nearby
University
of Portland,
which is AACSB accredited.
